On the Fly

Here is another masculine card. I made this card back in January for my brother's birthday. A bit late in uploading it, but it is here.

It is dificult to see, but I scored the panel lines and went over it in black to make the faux wood and also added horizontal lines. Then I added nail holes. I then took my little stampin spot white craft ink and dragged it accrossed the the cs base.

I stamped the man fly fishing (On the Fly)and cut it into thirds, matted it onto Night of Navy cs, and then matted again onto Old Olive and one more time onto Night of Navy.

I tied some jute around the base, then tied 2 more knots using extra pieces of jute, adhered using pop ups to the base of the card.

I then stamped the fish using old olive ink onto a white scrap, cut out and adhered using pop ups to the corner.

Here is the recipe:
Stamps: On the Fly
Paper: Chocolate Chip, Night of Navy, Old Olive, Whisper White
Ink: Old Olive, Whisper White Craft, Night of Navy
Other: Jute, Score-Pal, Pop Ups
Hope you like it.

February Xmas Cards

Where did February go?!! I totally forgot to upload my cards for February. Well here it is. These cards are 5"x5". The base is Mello Moss and the front is the DS SU Very Merry from last year's catty.

I added the corner punch in Always Artichoke.

Stamped various stamps in the circles, added some ribbon, and voila, it is done! Now I have to go and find some 5"x5" envelopes to fit my card!

Have a wonderful March.

Here is the recipe:
Stamps: Be Merry and other little stamps
Paper: Mello Moss, Always Artichoke. DS Christmas Paper
Ink: Black
Other: Ribbon, Corner Photo Punch
Thanks for stopping by.
